Fall is my muse.
Fall will be here. I promise.
Again the school buses are rolling through our neighborhood and the kids are back on a schedule. During the summer, any fashion sense I might have had went on vacation and it’s time to unpack and reevaluate. This is when the fashion magazines are thick with new styles and trends and retail-window displays get more interesting. It’s time for a fresh start.
Fall is my muse but not in the way you might think. Most people associate spring with renewal or rebirth but I think of fall as a time to begin again. Perhaps because I have a retail business and the holidays are some of our biggest moments to shine. Preparations begin as early as May when deciding which jewelry lines we will add. It’s a process where we carefully consider each detail as the grand holiday plan begins to take shape.
The leaves will fall, the weather will grow cooler, you will want to wrap yourself in luscious fabrics, vibrant colors and prints, but most important new jewelry designs. At Hauser’s, it’s that gleam in our eye, because we know what’s to come, that keeps us up at night with anticipation. Enter FREYWILLE, a new jewelry line we are carrying. It’s an explosion of color, exquisitely executed with classic enameling techniques. Designs are inspired by the works of famous artists like Gustav Klimt, Claude Monet and Friedensreich Hundertwasser, but you don’t have to be an art aficionado to feel connected to its color palette or style. If sterling silver is your thing, check out Kelim’s newest designs. Kelim jewelry has a soft brushed finish and designs you won’t see everywhere. If you are looking for a piece that takes your little black dress to a new level or perhaps you want to make a statement without a large investment, Kelim is a great option. For more innovative design, let’s turn to the Germans. We practically sold out of Breuning last year, and this year we have added many more collections. This is what I love about jewelry. It’s truly for everyone. Now go and fill your arm with bracelets and your fingers with rings and show the world you mean business!
